Brightwell cum Sotwell

 

Located behind the Village Hall, with a large free car park, our store is a social enterprise run by volunteers and was opened in August 2010. We provide the village and surrounding areas with the a large selection of groceries, plus newspapers, dry cleaning, free range eggs and daily fresh bread and milk. We also proudly support local producers.​

We stock over 500 basic and premium food and household products, with fresh bread and milk delivered daily and with weekly deliveries of eggs, vegetables, fresh meat, deli items, cheese and yoghurts. We strive to be as sustainable as possible and stock refillable/recyclable cleaning products. We also support many wonderful local producers offering local honey, locally roasted ground and whole coffee beans, bread, local cheeses and even Oxfordshire red, white and rose wine. ​

Since 2016 we also became home to a Post Office, providing Royal Mail and Parcelforce services, Cash Withdrawals and Deposits, Bill Payments and Top Up's, Foreign Currency and Travel cards.

Run by our team of friendly volunteers we go above and beyond to make our store a real community hub. We support village authors, artists, community groups and local charities.
